Born in Northern Germany, I started my sports journey in the local track and field club at the age of five. When fifteen years old, I shifted my focus on middle distance running. Several regional titles, regional records and medals at (North) German championships later, in 2019, a training accident left me with torn ankle ligaments and months of alternative cycling and swimming training ahead. Instead of giving up, I set new goals and signed up for my first triathlon race. In my second race, I managed to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in my age group. With lots of motivation to train and many more races to come, I am excited for my triathlon journey of chasing my best.
