Hamburg, Germany. After a what felt like a very long two weeks without swim due to yet another pool closure due to the pandemic, I can finally say I am back on track on the full training spectrum that triathlon has to offer. Training is going very well including big improvements in my running shape (finally a 15k run does not feel like a marathon any longer) and getting used to working out on the indoor trainer. It took me a few weeks to start adapting to Tacx sessions but by now I truly enjoy the quality of training that comes with working out indoors.
Besides on the trails and roads of North Holland, this month you can also find me in the German Triathlon Magazine story on the KU Cycle TF1. Learn more about their “disruptive” tailor-made manufacturing process and the unique selling channel through bikefitters only. New product always comes with controversial (re)views. I could not agree more with the final conclusion of the article: ” If the TF1 should bring in the first results with good bike splits, then the sceptics will also think again about how important the looks of a bike optimized for aerodynamics really is.” Let’s hope, there will be opportunities soon to bring in results! Cannot wait for racing in 2021! 🙂
